Almoradi can be found on the nothern bank of the Segura river, south of Alicante and inland from the beaches of Torrevieja and Guadamar. Almoradi retains much of its spnish style and heritage and is quiter than the aforementioned coastal resorts. Its 13,000 residential population has made it popular as it is able to offer all the amenities of a small town, schools, doctors etc..
Almoradi hosts many festivals throughout the year and makes an ideal destination for those looking for a liitle more peace mixed in with their spanish experience.
